ok I know that the only ben in my life right now should be big and chiming every hour, but bens cookies is single handedly the most amazing of things produced by this country. to be called just a cookie is almost degrading. but they dont deliver to the u.s... i already asked. and offered my big sister as collateral. didnt even flinch.

Phil (my host dad) got me a ticket to go see a Oxford United futbol game tonight!!! Not quite sure what to expect but he said and I quote.."better pack a change of trousers love..." What does that even mean??? Will post pictures soon :)

First Impressions are Everything

Today was the first day of school and I am overwhelmed.. to say the LEAST. This is the most amazing place I have ever seen in my life. The city, the people, the life, the history that creeps out of every unturned stone from the buildings dating back to the 1300's baffles me. The homework is bogging me down a bit, but just getting outside (despite the obnoxious cold weather) and seeing the sites reminds me of blessed I am to have such an amazing opportunity.
